ESTe²M Builders is a multi-dimensional approach to interdisciplinary education and self-esteem development through hands-on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Math (STe²M). With a specific focus on 4th and 5th grade students, ESTe²M Builders provides youth with the necessary technical, communication and confidence skills necessary to succeed in a STEM environment.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) occupations are projected to grow to more than 9 million by 2022. Studies show that male students are more likely than female students to enroll in engineering and computer science courses. To help close this gap and meet the rising demand for STEM professionals, ESTe²M Builders was formed. ESTe²M Builders is a multi-dimensional approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Math (STe²M) that primarily focuses on self-esteem development through knowledge acquisition. The founders of the company felt as if it was important to introduce entrepreneurial concepts and traditional STEM principles simultaneously for optimal results in regards to communication and technical development. After all, what good is it do develop a product if you can’t explain how it works, why it will be beneficial for the customer, or use the product as a foundation for starting your own business? The goal of ESTe²M Builders is twofold:
1) Provide educational learning kits for Pre-K through undergraduate youth, that “STe²Mulate” their learning environment through hands on activities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Math, supported by positive affirmations for self-esteem development.
2) Provide innovative, research-based solutions for education dilemmas that occur throughout the Science, Technology, Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Math instruction and learning process on a global scale.
